2024 black appearance package ordering restrictions

Now that the 2024 online configurator is available - I have been building a F150 Lariat. I really don't like chrome and the "black appearance package" seems to convert most of the chrome to black - which is great. Except it appears you can't get the black appearance package with any other body color but black (i.e. I want the black trim but the body color to be blue). Not sure why Ford is restricting this. Does anyone know if this is something the dealership can override?

Build & price tool is known to be inaccurate.

I kept having that issue with the 2023 build tool and I could see multiple colors on dealer websites.

I configured a '24 BAP in Animatter Blue, Rapid Red, White, and Black- so it may have just been glitching on you.

That's so weird - I just tried it on several different computers - and it still forces black body paint!
