2024 active shudders close when off?!

I have a 2021 powerboost and am renting a ‘24 PB this weekend while on a work trip. I just noticed the active shudders close 95% of the way when the engine shuts off which is really nice because it protects the easily cut horn wire harness.

any way to mirror this behavior in my ‘21? Any hope a software update will address this?

my ‘21 only closes about halfway. You can still see the horns and wires. Even the ‘24 doesn’t close all the way. It would be such an easy thing for ford to implement that would add at least a small level of protection.

I noticed this when I installed my Swarfworks license plate mount last night. Shutters were fully closed.

Anyone else have any input? With theft being so rampant these days I’m surprised there isn’t more talk about protecting the horns.
