Just got a new truck through work. It's basic 2023 XL Screw. Coworker pointed out to me the other morning that one of the tail lights was out. I've found that whenever it's dark out and I start it the autolamps come on but the driver's side tail light is out. If I cycle the switch off and back to any of the on setting, the light comes on with no issues.

It's an incandescent bulb and I pulled it out to look at the filaments. They seem to be fine. I even swapped driver's and passenger's side bulbs in case I missed something. Problem remains on the driver's side. No other lighting issues that I find. The brake light still works fine even when it's having this issue.

Anyone seen this issue before or have any ideas? If possible, I'd like to figure this out without a dealer visit. If they need to keep it, it's a ton of work for me to remove everything I'd need to for that to happen.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I also have the issue, see attached video please. I will send you my VIN and dealer information privately. BTW, I also have the popup TBM issue with DTC U0140-87. My dealer said I need to bring my trailer in to diagnose however I believe there is a TSB? They couldn't find it. Please help.

Heyn @LD50 , did you ever get it fixed? I got a fix for mine but it may be unique to my setup. See

I never did. It's a work truck and It'll be a major pain to have to remove everything from it and store it so I can leave it for a dealership to try and fix. I also don't have lot of confidence in their ability to track down and fix in a timely manner what I think is a module issue. I'd rather just cycle the light off and back to auto which fixes it every time.
