2023 Carbonized Gray Platinum

Bought this truck brand new about a year ago. Never really documented this build until now. The buying process was pretty long and was very indecisive on this. I had three options Raptor, Limited or this Platinum. Test drove every single one, the Powerboost and the ecoboost. I took in favor with the ecoboost. I didnt go raptor because all in all this was going to be my daily driver for work and kids. Raptor I just didn’t care for it. The nail in the coffin was no incentives nor D Plan. The limited didn’t care for either. I did not like the blue interior or cared for the badging. So I settled with a 2023 Carbonized Gray 3.5 Ecoboost. I can build this the way I want and drive it til the wheels fall off.

Honestly wish it had a better clear coat. Flaked off not even a year later. Even when I protected it with a ceramic sio2.

Next was the exhaust.
Borla ATAK Dual Exhaust System with Black Chrome Tips
Went back and forth on this because its a 3.5 Ecoboost. We all know it doesn’t like a 5.0. But who cares because I don’t. I went with the borla atak. It was the atak or the sport. Wanted more of a raw sound. My thoughts on this when I first installed this… what in the world did I just do!! But after break in this doesn’t sound to bad and agressive down low. With this truck being a 10 speed it quiets down pretty fast and enjoyable. You can carry on conversations and not hear anything.

I will get a new set eventually Maybe fuels or vossen wheels hfx-1 with 37’s

I think its great! Nothing negative about it. The only thing would to add the 2.5 reservoir in the rear. Which is I believe an additional 1k.

Much appreciated! I bought the black appliqué through ebay. I still have the original just in case.I notice the build quality is better oem vs aftermarket. Wont notice when on the truck but installing it you will.
