I still can't figure out if you're all talking about the rear drop-down armrest or the two cupholders at the rear of the center console...

For what it's worth, my '22 has the "fingered" cup holders up front and the "fingerless" for the back seat console (not the ones in the back seat armrest). Truck is a couple weeks old and the front cupholders are already broken. Fingers on both holders have recessed within the console and I'm not sure how it happened but the cupholder itself has separated to where it seems like the base has separated from the actual holder. Kinda embarrassed to have to take it back under warranty to have cupholders fixed, but I guess it could be worse. Sadly, I have been told they will have the truck for at least five days while they get to it. Parts shortage and all.

Neither have the adjusting cup grip. :)

Wonder if the aftermarket has any clever gadgets for the mission?

Sounds like a perfect reason / excuse to throw in the lighted cup holder and media bin light!

Honestly I have lived with the "fingers" for almost 2 years. I hate them, they are too tight causing more splashing than they prevent. Soda cans, water bottles, anything. I'm ready to take the assembly out, tear the fingers off, and reinstall. Count yourself lucky if you don't have them.

Pretty sure the cup holder with fingers is discontinued and this part is going to be the standard cup holder.

Anyone have a solution for the floppy rear console cup holders? Doesn't look promising to find the 21 part.
