I have a 2022 Platinum f150 powerboost fx4. Currently at 28k miles. About a month ago, I heard some squealing in the rear end area. It was just intermittent so I had it checked during an oil change visit. I got a call telling me that it needed a right rear axle replacement and that a bolt had sheared off, and it was unsafe to drive. After getting it back, I drove it approximately 2000 miles and started hearing the squealing noise again. I Made another appointment and was told the left rear axle needed replacing. I just picked it up from the dealership last night. My question, is this a common issue? Have you heard of this happening before? This truck is and has been babied since new. It always stays garaged and never driven off road. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
