2021 f150 lights coming on when power tailgate drops

I recently reset my truck to as built configuration with FORSCAN. After that I rebooted all modules. Now when I drop my power tailgate all the interior lights, puddle lights, and cargo light now come on. Obviously they shut off when tailgate is closed. Anyone know how to disable this? It never use to do it before.

Iirc. It's part of the welcome lighting
Truck thinks your unlocking etc
You should be able in center screen to toggle it off, but you loose the approach or welcome lighting
But I haven't slept at a holiday inn , in quite sometime

Yep, Totally normal. If you have the full power tailgate the truck sees it as opening a door. So for that I would ask you before you reset everything, did the lights come on when you opened the main doors? If they did, You prolly had a glitch the reset fixed.

Shutting off the welcome lighting does not resolve the problem. The lights never use to come on when the tailgate was opened. They will turn off after it’s timed out like the interior lights do if the door isn’t shut all the way.
