2021 f150 battery wiring damaged by squirrel

Can anyone help me on this issue. Seems like a squirrel damaged a wire on my 2021 F150. This wire provides power to a black box that I dont know what it is. Can you help me identify the name of the wire and box? And what is the best solution to replace the wire? Right now my truck is complete dead with no power at all. I went to ford dealer, however, they cannot sell that piece of wire alone. First photo shows wire before damage happened.

I rubbed cyan pepper all over the wires and engine cover to keep them from chewing mine after I first caught it. No more issues.

Had a ground squirrel make a nest under our hood w/o damage on our previous Class C-.
The rabbits out at the DEN International parking lots are infamous for targeting the soy infused wiring insulation.

4 times last year, cost more than I want to remember. Dielectric grease mixed with cayenne pepper rubbed over pretty much every exposed wire. Not very sightly but they have not touched my truck since.

A little duct tape should fix that up as new. While you're at it, get that .22 sighted in. In all seriousness, sorry about your misfortune. Hope everything works out for you.

Can you get to the other side of that wire to see what the connection looks like. The top looks just a regular connector and I'd assume the other end is probably about the same. You can buy a piece of wire same guage and all and connectors and probably fix it for way less than if Ford would sell you the wire but you said they won't even do that.

It's part of the battery isolator. You can order the part or just replace the wire if you are good with electrical work, it's easy to get at with the battery removed. For that heavy of a cable I prefer soldering the connectors on.
