Don't think I would (could) wait for a year.
It's not a year all at once, its an extra month, then an extra couple of months then should I order a different truck but this one may be right around the bend, etc. etc. Then before you know it, its a year, and your in for a penny, in for a pound.

Hey guys. First post on this thread. Ordered my truck this past week.

F150 SuperCrew 4X4 with PowerBoost, 501A and 6.5' bed, black over Agate Black
40/20/40. Have four kids and one wife. If you're unaware, not going with the console takes away MANY options that one would think had nothing to do with the console.

Tow mirrors (with the longer bed and future lift, this hopefully will make it more of the F250 profile, plus I need the mirrors). Pro-Power 7.4kW. Interior work surface, Max Tow, Bed Utility Hooks, and 360 degree camera.

I intend to lift it 4-6", go either 35" or 37" tires on bronze wheels. Hoping I have it by the summer to haul the boat and family to the lake!

Hello to everyone. Posting on this this thread for the first time as well. Ordered my truck on February 14, 2022.

F-150 Platinum 4X4 with PowerBoost Full Hybrid, 701A and 5.5' bed. Agate Black Ext w/ Black Interior Bucket Seats. Tow Mirrors, Adaptive Steering, Twin Panel Moonroof, Pro Power Onboard 7.2KW, Interior Work Surface, Max Trailer Tow Package, On-Board Scales with Smart Hitch, CCD, Max Recline Driver/Pass Seats, Bed Utility Package.

Will be using the truck mostly in the city and some of the outskirts.

I think that most would agree that the Ford order & tracking system is not dependably informative, with way too much of the information that we crave behind the curtain of obscurity. It appears to me that you can never really determine how things are going to play out with your order, until they do. If the accounts posted here can be trusted, 1 person waits a couple of months for their truck, & another waits more than a year for basically the same truck, mostly without rhythm or reason. Usually I guess that it must be unattainable parts, or maybe just priority code on the order that creates the seeming disparity. It is impossible for the vast majority of us with orders in queue to really know.​
With that in mind, I had an interesting conversation with my dealer rep earlier this week. It seems that the dealer ordered a Limited Powerboost optioned out for a Customer early last summer. Apparently a couple of months in, they had still not gotten order confirmation from Ford, & upon inquiry, were told that there was no such order in the system from this dealer. So they placed the exact same order again for the Customer. And it went exactly the same way again, with no evidence of the order supposedly in the system. So they placed the exact same order again in early December, this time reaching out immediately to Ford to be certain a prioritized order was in the system for the Customer, who had justifiably run out of patience. Here is the punchline. According to my rep, all 3 trucks were delivered last week, with the last 1 ordered arriving 1st.​

Funny that you wrote this at this time. I'm that guy waiting over a year. Ford emails confirmed build date of 02/21/22 then updated to 03/14/22. Called my dealer who confirmed in writing on two separate occasions over the past three weeks that my truck is already built but on chip hold and scheduled for delivery in May. I called Ford today and they told me all they see is what the emails say, I told them what the dealer advised and they said the dealer has other tools that may give them better incite (WTF!). Of course my question was, the dealer has better incite than you? Can't you ask someone to confirm (of course the answer was no)? Of course the first thing she advised was that dealers are independent (so hence, Ford assumes no responsibility for what they tell me), so when I said the dealer could be misleading me, the first words out of her mouth is that she didn't say that but she will do absolutely nothing to confirm the information they are giving me, however, she will confirm that it could be accurate or inaccurate and Ford will not be responsible for that. I thanked her and advised what a wonderful way to treat a customer who has been willing to wait patiently for over a year.
