Entered my build info, but just realized my order preview states a Priority Code of 02. The sales guy mentioned they were able to plug in my order in place of an order that had just cancelled. Should I feel optimistic or could that code be a mistake? I’ve read somewhere the highest a dealer can prioritize is a 10...

I wish I understood better. Ordered mine 8-17 but I have a 19 priority code... I think I am at the bottom of the barrel waiting for a Limited. I am not taking it well I looked at the Dodge but hate to pull the trigger on that until I see the Ford. It's killing me, even if I could get a build date as opposed to not knowing. I love my 18 Lariat and would hate my impatience to guide me to a Dodge.

Did they tell you it was built already (28 Nov) and here is the window sticker.

Yes but also said it was hard to see exactly where it is in the process.
I found the sticker and contacted the dealer to see if it was spoken for.

That date is great!! I recall dealership saying that the bed liner was sprayed in or waiting to be.
Is that usually done last??

Did it say priority 02 or order number 02?

Definitely says Order 9010 and Priority 02. I’ll see if I can get the order form to attach. I’m a newb. Haha!

I’d think he told me the orders go in on Wednesdays or Thursdays. So I’ll just keep fingers crossed I get it before summer.?

First one, order date 11/5 and build date 1/25:

The 2nd one he entered the order incorrectly! He left out chrome appearance, tow mirrors, work surface, and collapsing storage. Thanks to the tracking sites I could quickly verify this, so he can fix it! Anyway the above two vehicles if you look it gives an easy distinction between the KR chrome vs non chrome. I love those unique bronze rims of the non-chrome but alas, the wife insists on the KR tailgate badge.

My dealer decision will come down to whether one of them will promise me that I can use the $2k cash offer AFTER jan4 expiration. If they can promise me that I will take it! Otherwise I may have to sign the dang contract early without the truck (which starts warranty early, etc)

Your warranty will not start till you sign for the truck. In other words till it is picked up.

Congrats Paul! Glad to see. I am from NE SD and my order is about 1 week behind yours in order and production dates-was hoping maybe mine would have gotten put on same train, but doesn't look like it. I got the spray in bed liner and I suppose that could slow it down too. Enjoy your new truck when you get it!
