2022 F150 LARIAT 3.5 ECOBOOST
Hey Guys,

Longtime F150 owner but first time poster. I currently have a stock 2022 lariat 3.5 EB. I have a winter wheel setup on OEM 17" wheels off my old 2016 F150 XLT. I am wondering if I can swap the 2016 17" wheels onto my 2022 without issue for the winter months? I know the lug pattern is the same but curious if I will run into any issues with sensors, spacing, etc...Let me know what you think. Winters approaching over here in CT so I need to make a decision. Thank you.

Theyll bolt on so long as you dont have the PB/Max Tow rear axle (might be wrong with the designation, but its the ones shearing the axle end bolts). 17's interfere with the brake caliper out back. If you have the "standard" super 8.8 axle, they'll bolt up fine. Any TPMS sensor 2015+ is compatible and should self program.

How would I go about determining which rear axle I have? I looked at the VIN sticker on the door jamb but didn't see anything that jumped out to me.

You have the benefit of already owning the wheels you want to use, so it might be worth just trying one on for size.
There are a bunch of threads on this. It seems SOME 17's fit but may interfere with wheel weights, some dont fit at all.

Thank you for your help. I do have the 3.31 gears with the 9.75 rear axle. Question about fitment...When I go to test fit them, will I know right away if they don't fit? Or will they go on & then when I drive away I damage my truck? I apologize for the newbie questions here, I just want to heir on the side of caution with my new truck.
