Been having this go on for a while but hasn't really been a big enough problem to cause urgency. While cruising at most speeds, but mostly highway, I'll get a frequent 2-3 second vibration/rumbling sound on the powertrain (seems like from the motor). RPM jumps from about 1900 to 2000 while it's happening then goes back to normal. Steady on the throttle, but only happens when on the throttle. It stops when I let off. Recently I timed it and it happens pretty frequently about every 12 seconds. not throwing any codes btw.
I'm thinking it's spark plugs and coils. feels like misfire but idk. I've replaced spark plugs to no effect. Going to replace the coils next. Just wondering if anyone else has had this before.
Thank you.
