2.7 EcoBoost VS. 5.0 Order delays

For those of you who believe that manufacturing isn’t under the same restraints now as it was earlier in the year can take it from me that it very much Is.

Below you can see two separate orders of mine.
The first was placed on 3/17/21. It’s a 2.7 302A XLT 4x4 ecoboost with 20’ wheels, tonneau cover, bed spray in, wheel liners.
The second was placed on 3/27/21. It’s a 5.0 302A XLT with FX4, B/O system, work station, and tail gate step.
I had removed the tonneau cover, bed spray in, and wheel liners In hopes it would be a faster build than The first and it worked.
The first order still isn’t even scheduled for production yet.

So now my second order was built and shipped this week and hope it have it within two weeks

Haha No way! I scratched the first order after wanting the 5.0. I’ve just been tracking the first order to see how its doing compared to the second.

You can back out of a custom order and get your deposit back with no problem. The dealership will just sell the truck when they finally get it in.

shoot! I didn't know you could have two on order... I wish I wasn't impatient I would have actually placed an order on a slightly different configuration. Hindsight is 20/20 still love my truck though.

I order my 5.0 XLT 302A with spray in, wheel liners, and tonneau cover on 2/5, I received it on 7/25. The dealer told me that the Power Boosts that were ordered took an average of 3 months and trucks ordered with that motor had priority.
