This!!! This $#it right here pisses me right the Fahk off. I ordered my MY21 before you and your truck is delivered before mine but you got bumped and I didn’t and you got $3500 off. It’s nothing personal on you but Ford needs to see this and make it right.

To be fair, those of us forced to convert mostly lost features while being asked to pay more. So the $3500 is kind of to counteract that.

But you're not wrong, and I dont think all the stuff they took away or the MSRP increase totals more than $3500 for most people, so there's still "cash" left over, so to speak.

Probably shouldn’t put too much thought in it - BUT makes me wonder what’s happened to my truck. It’s pbeen built almost a month. Did they suddenly discover something wrong or did some moron drive it off the load ramp? Don’t know if I’ll get an explanation or not.

Same here wondering what happened or was wrong to cause the delays. Built 12/1 my original ETA 12/22 then 12/25 then 1/3 and now 1/22. Makes me wonder if they had to go back through and fix something on all the trucks built in the first couple of weeks of production or what?

How do you have any leverage with your trade price in this market? I’d be afraid of them lowballing and counting on you being invested in the truck since you ordered it. Then not budging because they want your invoice, A-Z Plan, etc. pricing deal to fall through so they can sell it for full price.

I’m in the same boat as you. My 21 never got flipped yet others that got flipped got rebates and their trucks already but ordered their original 21 after I did. I asked Ford about this their customer rep doesn’t care 1 bit. They are close to losing 2 more sales from me unless they pony up some cash. I work in rural hospitals that are short and or half a increase in covid and need a replacement vehicle right quick.

You shouldn’t have paid more if you flipped. Also it is ghetto that some flipped and some didnt.

My dealer flipped mine. Reordered as 22 in October using same Order Code and it took. Dealer printed me out a new order sheet with 2022 model indicated

This is what I did as well. At first my dealer was trying to do a different order code, he said his ford rep said it didnt matter if it was a new code, but he changed it for me just in case.

Question for anyone who has taken delivery of their ’22 Lariat.

I’m still waiting for them to fix the valve cover oil leak they found when they did their dealer inspection - hopefully tomorrow or Friday - but when I went to look at the truck, I noticed that there were no LED box lights in the bed. I ordered from the 2021 build sheet back at the beginning of November (Ford hadn’t updated their ordering page at that time, but it went in as a 22) and the Box lights were listed as a standard feature. It shouldn’t matter, but I picked the 501A package.

Do those of you who have your truck already have the LED box lights or not? Thanks!
