My guess is the adaptive steering has something to do with the blue cruise. Also the past trucks without adaptive steering not getting the blue cruise update? IDK just a guess

Do you have adaptive steering on it? They're only scheduling KR / platinum that have adaptive steering included. Been that way for a while....

I have ford copilot 360 active 2.0, adaptive steering should be part of that pkg. Going to call chapman and see what is going on.

I believe they pulled adaptive steering out of the pkg for job 2 builds, its now a stand alone option.

After commenting here, I went to you tube and watched this video. I do not feel like giving a grand for this feature is worth it.

It likely isn't honestly (even at the ~$900 invoice price).... But what it gets you is a more legitimate path to scheduling. Since they made it optional on Platinum and King Ranch for job 2 + 2022 they have pretty consistently not scheduled plat/KR without the option.

The adaptive steering uses a different steering wheel assembly and I don't think they actually have any of the high trim steering wheels without it. So the orders for the high trim trucks without adaptive steering end up on a long material hold and don't get a VIN.

So really you're paying half for the feature (which does has benefits for parking lots and towing) and half to get scheduled.

The adaptive steering wheels have a motor + that yellow gear array in there. Very different internals. They would have to produce different wheels for king ranch + plat without the feature to build them.... Which doesn't seem to be happening in any QTY
