I heard the spray in liners aren't too bad but they do skimp on the prep compared to Line-x, which is why I'm glad the option was removed on mine.

Good to know. I have LineX on my 2016 right now it is great. Just wish there were more dealers in my area.

Yeah I debated but I am still perplexed as to why some of the aftermarket companies don't spray the bolts. That and I kind of liked the "Ford" in the box are why I went with the factory. For the life of me I can't recall if the spray in in my GMC was factory or not but it held up really well

Are both plants going 24/7 right now? I'm curious as to how the sequence numbers intertwine from both factories and where they are in relation to each other day by day.

My understanding is that each plant's sequence numbers are independent, they just roll 0001-9999 and then restart.

I believe they are independent dealers. I haven't talked to the dealer by me yet to see if they will remove the bolts and box links, but I had LineX installed when I picked up GMC Sierra at the dealer in 2007. Great product, no damage to the bed. This time around I will add a bed mat. That should help my knees.
