I would like to run the thickest slip on hub centric spacer I can that doesn't require extended studs. I'm still using factory stx rims and would like to keep them. I leveled and increased wheel size and all clears fine. The purpose is just for wider stance without new wheels. Maybe 3/8 inch/10mm, but I'm seeing mixed info regarding these extended thread lugs. If anyone has run these or seen them in use personally please share product details.

On order ‘22 RCSB.
Whatever you do, keep in mind that the rear is 10mm wider than the front.
Once you see it you cant unsee it.

Track width
67.9 inches front
68.3 inches rear

i went with 1/4 front spacers just to even it out front to rear with no issues.

Thanks for the info. Original lug nuts were still deep enough for that I would think?

So the rear tires stick out normally out of factory?

I ran 3/8” spacers with factory lug nuts with no issues. I did some research and concluded that 3/8” would be safe FOR ME with factory lugs.

THEN I decided I needed thicker spacers so I went to 1/2” with extended thread lug nuts. Near as I can tell I have more thread contact with this set up than I did stock.

I would like to do 1/2 inch if it works. What brand spacer is that you're using for 1/2 inch? How did you come to feel safe? Counted number of rotations on the lugs?

Borla

Count rotations and measure depth.

Needed 7 rotations and got 11

Needed 14 mil of threads but got 17.

So with 1/2” spacers and extended thread nuts I am safer that the minimums I found via Google.

I appreciate all the detail. The only part I dont follow - Borla? Aren't they exhaust? I've looked around and I don't find spacers on their site. Any chance you mixed that up? Or happen to have a link?
