Hello, I know as much as this topic gets talked about on here and read multiple posts about the transmission itself but I’m honestly lost on what to do i recently bought a brand new f150 back in June and ever since then I’ve put about 2400km on it since then and when I first got it never noticed much going on or any jerky shifts or downshifts but as I got closer to 1,000km at the time I was noticing weird behaviour so I took it in they told me it was half a quart low on fluid so they topped it up and that was all. After that it seemed like there was a very small delay whenever it would shift into 5th depending on my throttle. It would shift into 5th at 31km/h or past that depending on my throttle as I said I found that odd. On top of that the harsh downshifting like you’re being rear ended. I gave it a good month before I called back to mention that this was happening so they took it in and reset the pcm/tcm and gave it back and told me if my issues continue to bring it back in a couple weeks. Got it back noticed smooth shifting but still that slight delay into 5th/10th. In anyway is that normal and I’m just being paranoid? It’s like under normal slow acceleration it hits 5th with no issues but the min I wanna drive a bit faster and not like a grandpa it just gets confused. The harsh downshifts are still there feel even more jerky then before it was reset. As my route to work I have to hit the highway for a sort bit and on that drive it feels like going into 8th gear is extremely slow it’ll hold 7th till it finally shifts best way I can truly explain it. When any other time it hits 8th at 55km/h not 67. Hope I explained this well enough just want some advice and just hope I’m just being a paranoid owner of this truck. Put about 150km on it since the reset to get it going again and to see if there was a noticeable difference. The upshifts have changed just not the downshifts. 1-3 clunks also come and go and no sport or tow and even eco doesn’t change anything if anything the downshifts are even more jerky. Also very low on km but being thrown around when slowing down and you know it’s coming every time isn’t enjoyable at all and most can agree.
