Apparently that rattle at idle is “normal”. Just like the squeak I have when I use the gas pedal. Just found this out today. EDIT: nice truck! I considered a raptor and almost ordered a 23 til I got my VIN.

It's my only complaint of the truck but it's driving me nuts.

And wheel well liner, mud flaps, tonneau, bed mat, UFO speaker delete….. the longer it takes to deliver the more time I have to research and buy crap I don’t need!

This reminds me. So I ordered the Husky mud flaps, rear well liners, and full interior mats. They sent everything correct besides two driver's side masks rather than both sides. They wanted everything sent back and then would send me the correct ones rather than me just send the wrong mat.

Seems like a huge waste of shipping money but they paid for the labels so whatever

Rattle is annoying but "normal"

I had a noise from my rear shocks that was never fixed on my 2022. I think it was resolved with replacing oem fox shocks but I could be wrong.

Went in the Ford Pass app and tried to activate the truck just for giggles. It cycled through and displayed “Activation Pending”. Not sure what that means but maybe it’s in transit? My estimated delivery was between 12/20-12/26.

I’ve been sitting in Atlanta, 2 hours from my dealer since the 20th, missed 2 road trips that I needed it for, have another in mid January I'm hoping to have it for!

Well prove me wrong!
Ford order tracker flipped to Final Preparation this evening. No Ford email yet.
Salesman has not seen. He got trapped in airports for the holidays and just got home.
Hopefully, I can finalize things and pick up tomorrow or Wednesday.

One of the plant workers on a Raptor group I'm part of claimed that they are working around the clock at full blast to get these out. He worked this weekend at TRIPLE time pay and they are not slowing at all.

Not very comforting! Tired workers going full blast equals mistakes and errors which ultimately leads to numerous safety recalls.

I wouldn't think it's safety recalls, just QC fails worst case.

It's an assembly line, not brain surgery. It's designed to give the worker the highest amount of assistance and limit the skill needed to complete a task. Have you watched videos of the installs? It's pretty interesting....specially calibrated tools for one single set of screws, jigs to line up parts, etc.
