[F150 hopefull]

Got on ford chat a little bit ago, they told me the ETA to be picked up by the shipper was 12-31-22. Left negative feedback

I decided to call ford marketing as well, truck is released to the shipper at ramp in Boston,Michigan. ETA is 12/25- 12/31 to be delivered. Left negative feedback about shipping delays.

I ordered the truck 7-20
It’s been built without holds since 10-31
First ford email was 11/14-11/20
Second email updating me on 12/5 ETA 12/10-12/16

I am not convinced it will even ship by the end of the month. This is week 7 since it’s been built/awaiting shipment.

it’s crazy to me that people are getting trucks delivered that have been built later. I’m really starting to think ford is controlling what ships and what doesn’t based on dealer or region.

I know this is extremely frustrating. but seeing someone receive their truck that was built after yours is nothing compared to the MY22 still waiting and seeing the MY23 guys complain. This it the bigger issue IMHO.

I have no idea how this process works, or how they prioritize shipping. I know they want their monies, and we want the trucks. could be dealer.

all that said the biggest issue I have with this whole process, I started back in May, is the lack of communication.

Only getting an built with ETA email. the ETA passes and nothing.

I think dealer is a huge factor. Granger seems to have trucks delivered that were built 3 weeks after mine. I’m very close to Dearborn but have a small dealer. Grangers built after mine have to travel 10x as far but are already off the lot.

Side note: I think Ford knows they’ve already hit their Q4 quotas OR they know they won’t hit them, so they are sandbagging for Q1. Something tells me trucks start shipping on 12/30. Ok tinfoil hat off.

I’m happy people are getting their trucks. I’m also aware 22s have not even been built yet. But WTH Ford. Just ship them.

You think. Hah... Going thru same thing. Built 10/25. Shipped 10/28. Sitting in same railyard since. 50+ days in same spot... meaning the same damn parking spot in the yard. No status holds on truck from Ford. Let me ask this... how does Ford know to change the ETA as a status detail to present if inquired? Mine has changed ten times not including the blank ETA at one point. Is it as simple as being notified it hasn't arrived by previous ETA? Why would an ETA go backwards and forwards in a given time period overall... instead of further out only. They say shipping delays. I think it is a formula based on size of dealership, location of dealership, how many 22's left, how many 23's, transport company being cheap is what drives whether or not the delivery moves smoothly and in a decent time. My dealer has 4 2023 F150's ordered and mine is the only one that has been shipped since October. One other one just shipped and its awaiting two others to be built. Yet I sit... 75 minutes away as a special retail order. What is the reasoning for the actual delay?? I called Ford marketing, Ford customer service, Ford performance, railyard, dealer. Ford customer service says dealer should use every resource possible to look into the exact reason for any delay at the request of the individual for a special retail order that currently details beyond the scope of what Ford is capable of knowing once it is out away from plant.

Yeah that can be frustrating... like people calling to get a front row concert ticket in 20 minutes and you stood in line overnight and were offered top row seats.

If a MY 2022 was built before a MY 2023 and the 2023 gets delivered before... I would dig into why the 2022 has not been delivered. The secondary status usually tells you why it is still not delivered. And if the status is clear and has no hold, damage, warranty issue, etc. Then the dealer is at the heart of why and should help you better understand. I would go to sales manager or general manager to have them contact regional manager to see why its stuck. But agree the lack of communication is mind boggling... especially if the order is a retail order and is tied to an individual customer already. The problem is some dealers don't see the person behind the order and see a vehicle taking a while to get to them is all. Have to speak up and make some noise. But even then they may not care and have canned responses. Whole process right now is broken and no one cares enough to fix it going forward.

Yes thanks for managing this data. Looks like of our sample only 25% have been delivered as far as we know. My Blend BTW is 10/25... for what its worth.

If you are updating the table mine is a PB BAP with a blend date of 10/26. Still no other updates on delivery. Not a Granger order ?
