06/6/22 Build Week Group

Got the official Ford "Built" email this morning. Looks like the estimated date is now 7/24-7/30 from the pre-chip hold 7/20 they were saying. Seems about right with the length of the hold. Could finally be in a new truck by the end of July!

It would be great to get a shipped notice befor the 4th holiday but that's just wishful thinking.

Ordered my ARE topper yesterday with a 5-7 week delivery time. We'll see which gets here first.

My delivery to dealer window starts tomorrow, 7/2/22 through 7/8/22. Rail car has left Nashville this morning so hopefully delivery window will be accurate! Holiday could throw a wrench into things but hopefully will have within next two weeks!

My window is 7/2 to 7/8 but (according to CSX) it was unloaded on a ramp in Annapolis Junction MD (going to Koons in VA) on Tuesday but then yesterday Ford Chat said it's at a rail yard in Ohio so it either went backwards or it got picked up and taken to the wrong place or what the hell I don't know. But the delivery window moved a week closer as this all happened. I just want the damn truck, and I sold my other truck on Wednesday before it drops any further.

I would trust CSX more than Ford! LOL! Good luck - I'm selling my Jeep next Thursday betting on truck delivery following week! (Hope springs eternal!) Railcar left Nashville this morning - per CSX - on its way to "Cindy2" whatever or wherever that is! (Trying to figure it out.) Ultimate delivering dealer is in Alabama so hopefully it is heading south out of Nashville! Good luck!

Same to you! I'm hoping it got dropped off in MD and is waiting for a hauler. The CSX tracking said the railcar was "empty" after it left that MD yard and it was headed for Louisville, so I'm not sure how the heck Ohio entered the mix. Just stick a damn bar code on these trucks and have them be scanned when they get to each location along the way and allow people to track the shipment like we track every single other item in our lives, would that be so hard?

Just recieved Built e-mail last night (6/30), with ETA for delivery between 7/26-8/1. Still on chip hold, Ford customer service said the adaptive cruise control chips are the primary culprit right now.

Funny, I just tried chat again and they show me in Nashville! Railcar left Nashville this morning but at least they (Ford) are catching up! We might get our trucks within the ETA - which would be a miracle!! Haha….still a ways to go! ?

Interesting that Ford is sending us built emails when they are still on chip hold.. Unless they have very firm dates on the chip availability and they are available in the next couple of days..
