Picked it up Thursday morning from Granger and drove 16 hrs straight back to Georgia. I loved the entire drive back and only had to stop one time in 1100 miles for gas ??

Got an email from Ford. I can't really say it's an update by any means...

They didn't even mention a time frame for next contact on this email. At least the last one said 45 days.

I just got the same vague email regarding my XLT on order. Glad I decided to buy an F-150 off the dealer lot a few weeks ago!

Bbmertz I would've done that but nobody in my area has PB or anything else with the options that I wanted.... horrible first NEW buying experience! but oh well. I'm not truly in a hurry to get it. just a little annoying. lol

Agreed. I lucked out and found a Lariat with the EB engine and the options I wanted for not much more than the XLT I had on order. Hope your truck gets built soon!

Maybe some of the niche options take longer for the trucks to be made, but I placed my order 4/28 and my truck shipped from KC and is now sitting on a ramp in Jacksonville, FL this morning... about 3 hours away from my dealer. So i'm guessing 70 days from order to final delivery to me. My truck is a 302A, FX4, 5.0, 157" wb with tow pkg. Nothing crazy.

Update: Only two days after receiving the generic delay email from Ford, the status of my XLT order switched from In Production to Built on 6/28 (but no window sticker), just over two months after my original 4/25 blend date.

I don’t plan to purchase the XLT since I already bought a Lariat from a local dealer but wanted to keep this group updated for those of you from the 4/24 build week who are still waiting to take delivery. I’ll continue to provide updates until the XLT arrives at the dealer.

I haven't picked my truck up yet, but it's at the dealer. I'm out of town for work until July 12, so told them that I won't be picking it up until after that...

Got a call from my dealer that they received it 6/30.

Just received an email confirming that the XLT shipped on 7/2 with an estimated delivery date of 7/7-7/20. Here’s the overall timeline:

Got back from my honeymoon and checked my emails... My truck has surprisingly been built (7/17) and shipped (7/18) with an ETA of 8/7-8/20. It's being shipped by convoy... I was looking at a few other threads about finding more tracking info, does anyone know if I can find out anything more with convoy tracking?

Just received an email confirming that the XLT shipped on 7/2 with an estimated delivery date of 7/7-7/20.

Looks like the XLT I custom ordered before buying my Lariat arrived at the dealer in Charlotte and changed to “final preparation “ status on 7/17. Surprised it only took two weeks to ship from MI to NC.

Just to follow up with my last post - my truck that I ordered April 3rd just showed up at the dealer here July 19th! It was scheduled to be built May 4th (matches blend date on window sticker) and then was stuck for who knows what for a couple months prior to being shown as built/shipped. I will finally be picking it up this week!
