04/05 Build Week

I was going to wait to start this thread but I see someone has started the 4-12 one already.

Let's start our group therapy session as we wait for our trucks.

Currently own a 2013 FX4 that I am trading in on a 2021 XLT 302a LeadFoot
Ordered Jan 11th. Original build week was March 15th but pushed back to 4-5 last month.

My dealer offered my a fantastic 21k trade in value if I can keep the mileage under 80k. Currently at 79,775 so the truck is parked and I'm stuck driving the wife's fusion. Praying my truck gets here soon.

Just got my build date for 4/5. This is my 2nd order, the 1st one was a 501 with tow technology. This one is 502 with the standard tow package.

Super excited for the pro-power. We have a trip planned for the grand canyon in June, fingers crossed, we get it with time to finish the break in.

Another week closer guys. With the weather breaking here in the Northeast, I am really starting to get the itch for my new truck. I'm going to contact my dealer today to make sure I'm still on for April 5th week and have not been pushed back. Will report back.

Without bothering the guy too much because he really does do a lot, Pioneer 74 on the other forum is much more efficient that your dealer.

i’m gonna hit him up again at the end of the month and ask. the itch is real can’t wait.

I may take that route after the truck hits "production" status but before that, just knowing that the date has not changed is good enough for me.

From what I can piece together tow tech has a 7k towing capacity, we wanted more. The standard tow package has 11,400 capacity.

Anyone wanting a smoke quartz Powerboost lariat, it should be at the dealer by the end of the month.

Thanks. That is what I am afraid of happening to me. I have spoken to my dealer multiple times and shown them all the documentation that I can find that states Tow Tech is only 7k towing. I am going to be REALLY POed if my truck comes and does not have the 11k towing (they have repeatedly stated it does have 11k and i have it in a text)

Prepare yourself. Tow Tech is only 7k. I verified that with multiple sources including Ford Customer Care.

@F150 Voodoo Same here. If it helps, I called my salesman yesterday to confirm and still showing a 4-5 build week.

I just got word my build week is 04/05. I ordered the truck Feb 26th.

I ordered a carbonized gray 500a Lariat 4x4 3.5L EB.

Unfortunately, I ordered the spray-in bed liner, so that's going to add on a few weeks. I had previously asked my salesman to delete it, but I guess he wasn't able to, since I see it in the build order on Ford. I'm disappointed about that, but I guess nothing can be done at this point. I figure I won't see the truck until May sometime.

no power package
no sunroof
w/everything else including max towing

I am just waiting till I have the window sticker so I can confirm it will actually be built that week. It’s killing me
