Hi,

So my truck started periodically displaying this message and when it does, phones won’t connect or even charge on the front USB a and uSB C ports in the dash. The rear port still has power. When this happens, it was sometimes solved by shutting off and restarting the truck. But now the ports do it all the time. The funny thing is, the message appears when you plug in a charge cable without even having a device connected to it….????

has anybody had this on their current or past F150? Do you think it’s the USB module in the dash, or sync software related?

thanks!

Have you tried a different USB cable? If the truck is detecting just the cable, the cable maybe shorted. When you plug in just the cable, it is no different than the cable on the other side of the connector.
