I have a 2022 F150 Lariat and have been getting the message “active air dam system fault; see owners manual”. From the this site, I believe I probably need to replace the actuator. Is there any way to determine which actuator is bad or do I just have to replace both?

I’ve not had this issue but you can have a friend drive in front of you and once you are above the speed at which it drops they can tell you if one or both sides do not drop. I’m unsure if you can actuate it with a scan tool or Forscan

Since my last OTA software update, I have gotten this message twice sporadically. My ait dam appears to be working though.

My 2021 Lariet was fine until i did an fdrs update 3 weeks ago. Now i've had the same fault 3 times as soon as i start the truck and today when i shut it off. I've got to think it had something to do with the update.
