‘24 stx 5.0 flutter under acceleration

2024 f150 stx 5.0 fluttering noise from front of truck, driver side. Around 3500 rpms , only when in drive. Has anyone else had this problem ? I have adjusted the hood latch and rubber stoppers to keep
It from rattling, thinking that was it.

My hearing isn't the best; I couldn't hear your flutter. When my '23 5.0 was new, whenever I'd go WOT there was a very loud fluttering noise which turned out to be one of the air intake hose connections being loose. I'd check all air intake hoses, clamps etc.

Doesn't sound like mine at all; mine was a real brrrrrrrr harmonic sound. Yours sounds intermittent, no frequency pattern to it. Makes me think it's the air intake scoop at the very front of the truck on top of the grille not being held down tightly enough . Sorry I've got nothing else.

Heat shield possibly? Does it do it when you rev the engine in park or only when actually accelerating?

I think I saw a TSB for a bolt or something in the transmission that might hit a plate and cause a noise. It was only the 5.0.

I’m no mechanic but could it be knock at all? Try premium gas for a tank?

The heat shield seems pretty secure. I’ll run some premium to see… but it sounds more like a puff than a knock to me

That might be the flywheel bolts people were having problems with in the 24 and 25 5.0’s.
