‘23 Super Crew Rear Door seals?

Comparing my ‘23 Lariat to my dad’s ‘23 XLT, both Super Crews, I noticed he has a set of extra door seals on both of the rear doors. I have the install points for it just the only thing there is the rivets. See part #7.

I see them sketched in parts diagrams, but do not see them as available for any models.

Does anyone know the history of this seal and why it’s maybe been removed? To me it looks like a good weather seal for the large gap between the door and body.

His XLT is also a v8 with extended bed. I have the V6 and short bed.

I noticed that when I looked at a 2022 or maybe a 2023.

The only thing I can think is they get ripped off easily and maybe the benefit the add to the door seal is not worth the warranty ford was paying out.
