I have a ‘22 Lariat and had the fox leveling kit put on a few months ago. I’ve noticed since installing that the adaptive cruise is very jerky and isn’t anywhere near as smooth as it was before the level when approaching a vehicle in front of you. Can this be adjusted with programming at the dealer? I’ve heard they used to adjust something but don’t on 21+ trucks.

Anyone know??

I had the Fox 2.0 kit installed last Friday. Yesterday, I received an alert that the pre-collision assist wasn’t available. That preceded several other, seemingly unrelated alerts. It’s in the shop now and the service advisor said that they’ll check the cameras and sensors and make any corrections if necessary. I didn’t go up in tire size or anything, so I’m curious if it’s the camera angles that changed and prompted the alert or if it’s just bug guts blocking the front camera. Sounds like they can adjust them. I’ll keep you posted.

in the pdf instructions for the ford performance struts and i am sure with all the other leveling kits
the radar in the bumper area has to be verified its level with the ground after the level and alignment
maybe the module was not checked, then there is a fdrs thing
starts on page 24 of the attached pdf might help?

Horizontal Alignment
NOTE: The horizontal alignment for the CCM is a software calibration that checks that the radar is
pointed straight. No manual adjustment is needed for this procedure. The scan tool calibrates the
CCM through the CCM procedure in programmable parameters.
NOTICE: The vehicle's engine must be running during the horizontal alignment
procedure. Failure to leave the engine running throughout the entire procedure results in
the cancellation of the alignment procedure and the system remains non-function

Thanks for the reference! I have to swing by the dealership tomorrow to pick up my loaner. Let’s see if they get it calibrated correctly.

Thanks for the response. Curious to see if it resolves it for you. I don’t think mine was calibrated. I had the level installed by a third party shop, but had to bring it to Ford to move the ride height sensors due to some headlight issues i was having.

Done deal. So the dealer “re-calibrated” the system and alert is gone. Driving home I noticed that the sensitivity was set at the highest setting. Like it was reset to factory settings. No big deal. Just turned the alert and the sensitivity to as low as they would go. Shutting it off just keeps the dash light illuminated. Camera image at the corners are still jacked up. Front/back/side images are perfect.

Quick update…
Pre-collision turned on and intermittent alert when driving straight or coming out of a slight right hand turn at 30-50 mph.
Pre-collision turned off. No change. Still receiving same alerts. No traffic. Just curbs and lines in road. So much for getting it calibrated ??‍♂
