  1. Horn Blowing Non-Stop -- BCM throws "Horn Relay Short to Battery"

The horn blowing non-stop just happened to me at 4:30AM, fun. Last night I drove home in heavy rain with a lot of standing water in the road, though nothing I would call a flood as I had a Tesla Model 3 in front of me driving without issue. By the time I figured-out what fuse was for the...
  2. Looking for retractable Tonneau cover - is Roll and Lock the best?

I’m happy with the roll n lock XT with T channels for a rack. Locks with key or can be left unlocked. Does not move on Highway or leak in rain. I can get a little water in by the tailgate with a hose, but even then it’s just a little that runs out the tailgate. The design does not use ball...
  3. I have 2H/4H/4L, where is 4A?

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I believe your XLT has the ESOF (Electronic Shift On-the Fly?) transfer case (TC) that uses dog gears to lock the front and the rear together, so mechanically locked, no slipping clutches. That's the TC I'd want for driving in sand, mud, crawling on rocks...
  4. I have 2H/4H/4L, where is 4A?

I like the idea of the transfer case with mechanical locking and 4A, as I see some of you have installed. Too bad that's only on Tremor and Raptor. I almost got stuck on the beach (Ormand, furthest North ramp for curious locals), deep soft sand, not like where I usually drive. The towing...
  5. Which stock size tires are you running and what's your MPG?

I have a heavier optioned 157" that is leveled LT tires: averaging 20MPG hand calculated. I get worse on the highway (about 19MPG 65-70 MPH), awful in urban hills (like 15MPG) and great on relatively flat local roads (22-26MPG) where I go into electric mode more often. NItto Terra Grappler...
  6. What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

I think that might be close to my ideal route being mostly flat and fast enough to just get into 10th gear with little boost. Also, it's quite a bit warner down here in Imperial measurement land (North Carolina) :ROFLMAO: I imagine your truck would get the same or better mileage.
  7. What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

I posted about a frequent mostly highway drive that I do twice a week (here), following-up with a a local drive I make several times per week (screen shot, 23.8 MPG, 5.7 miles) that is what I think of as an optimal 45-50 MPH mostly flat route. In a loaded Lariat with 33" e-rated tires, I won't...
  8. OTA Ford Power-Up 3.5.3 and upcoming Alexa Built-in roll-out

Got another update yesterday; it's the "while you may have seen this update before (3.5.3), we're resending to ensure some housekeeping features are included to further enhance your user experience. I've been getting these updates while driving on I-40 in NC, 60mile drive each way that I take...
  9. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Installed new Roll N Lock A series XT tonneau (aluminum with rails), including cargo manager thrown in free with warranty replacement on the old power top that stopped opening all the way.
  10. What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

One of my regular trips that hovers around 20MPG, it's about 100 miles highway (65-70MPH) where I used BlueCruise and the rest typical start-stop urban where I get the electric miles. I have a few things working against me: heavy truck (6000+lbs, I believe), fully loaded lariat, 6.5bed, max...
  11. Toyo Open Country RT Trail Review - 275/60r20

Nice looking truck and thanks for sharing your impressions on the Toyo tires--they sound like a good balance of looks, performance, and MPG. I'll look at these for my next tires. I bought my truck used with Ridge Grapplers in LT275/60R20 (E) size, 60lbs each -- Good for durable off-roading and...
  12. Show me your leveled trucks!

@Twinturbospoolybois Looks great! What wheels are those?
  13. Fox 2.5 Coilovers on a Powerboost?

@YzermanTopShelf Nice looking truck. I can add my brief experience with the Fox 2.5. I have them on my 21 PB, leadfoot Lariat, coincidentally. I've put 1000 miles on them and the previous owner (Not sure if he is on this site) put 10k miles on them. They still look new, no signs of...
  14. Roll n Lock E-Series replacement

Hi all, My Roll n Lock E-Series failed after a little over a year, it would only open/close part way. It's still under warranty and they said they would send me a new one, which is great support. Question: Should I replace it with the E-series (electric) or ask for a manually operated...
  15. Balanced Out, no Ford for you!

Ironically (or per customer retention algorithms), the day after Koons canceled my order, Ford *finally* sent me a Personal Cash Offer of $2000. Too bad they can't build me a truck. LOL
  16. Balanced Out, no Ford for you!

Thanks for the suggestions @towpro @FrankThompson How do you get the PIN from either Mustang Club or EAA (Experimental Aircraft Assoc?)
  17. Balanced Out, no Ford for you!

My deposit was refunded today, so I'm out of the running for a new F150. I'll continue to monitor the used market for PB and other trucks. I have cars.com sending me updates and a few PBs have been reduced ~$5k, but not below the quoted price I had with Koons, yet.
  18. Balanced Out, no Ford for you!

I think if your truck is going to built, you are OK. The trouble appears to be when a 2022 cannot be built due to supply issues (e.g., balanced out) and they don't have/want to use an allocation to roll the truck in MY2023. As others said, for 2023s they are not guaranteed an additional piece...
  19. Balanced Out, no Ford for you!

Apparently, Koons is no longer able to offer forum pricing on 2023 F150s due to a change with Ford. Derek, feel free to clarify, and keep my order open for a 2023. :) @koons_woodbridge_ford
  20. Balanced Out, no Ford for you!

Got the bad news today. My order from March 2022 has been balanced out, which I'm told means they aren't going to build my 2022 PB. I asked the dealer, Koons, about moving it to a 2023 and I'm told they can't give the forum pricing (5% under invoice) on a 2023. I could buy down the road at...
