I downgraded to the 45.6.8 FDRS and it finally completed the IPC update.
Not showing any more software updates available, currently on Sync 22293 r610. Is this common for a 2021 F150?My software license runs out on the 11th, should I check one more time, or if FDRS is not pulling down any new...
I will try again, but I don't recall even getting the option for it to ask me if the update was successful. Next time I try, I will copy the full error code if it comes back up.
Ahh, ok, yeah I never even get that far, as it immediately fails when it attempts to start to load onto the USB stick, the cluster goes blank, start button becomes unresponsive, and wont power back on until I remove the mongoose, and it just states it cannot communicate with the module. I will...
Not yet, been in the middle of moving the last couple of weeks, so haven't had the time to try again. Someone recommended trying to downgrade FDRS and trying again, so maybe try that? I will try again next week when I have more time.
So got up to APIM version 22293, and when trying to run the IPC update, the cluster powers off, and then the update just fails and refuses. I have to unplug the mongoose before the system resets and the dash lights back up. Is this a known issue? Any resolution?
So I did the master reset, the battery pull for 20+ minutes, then the PMI, and then attempted the software update selecting to remove the audio files. Did a 3GB file push onto the USB stick. I also changed USB sticks, going with a higher speed 128GB stick, rather than a standard 32GB stick...
Thank you, will look at that.
So got the pop-up message about the update starting on the USB for the APIM, but was at the worst time, as was just about to get some groceries and had to get out of the truck. How long does the truck need to run for the first stage to process? There was no...
So aparently, changing the Auto Start-Stop to disabled in FORscan will generate the Service Charging System Soon error message. The battery is just fine.
But I thought I saw somewhere mentioned that there are possibly two settings locations to disable Start-Stop in FORscan, anyone know anything...
Also showing a DTC under the SCCM, showing 'Lost communication with image processing module A'. Any idea what that is about? I have reset and retest, and it still keeps popping up.
How do I go about doing that? The roll back?
And directly at the battery, don't know, don't have access to my voltimeter right now, or do you mean what it shows in FDRS? I will have to hook everything back up later today and check.
So I had a charger hooked up to my truck the whole time I ran the FDRS updates, showed good voltage of 12.4+ volts the whole time, and the truck has a new battery as of 8/25, but now I started to get a 'service charging system soon' warning on the dash every time I start the truck. Anything...
So if that is the case, it will remove the files, update the manifest on the USB, then when I have it run the APIM update again, it will then check for the removed files? Then it will download the actual update?
