Thanks for the information and reassurance. I don't do a lot of off road driving, other than the some fields, pastures, and gravel roads sometimes. Still might be a good investment for the protection of the plastic oil pan that the all-knowing engineers put together.

I bought my first F-150 about 5 months ago after owning a Chevy 1500 for several years. Very impressed by the 2.7 EcoBoost in my 2018...not as impressed by the fiberboard being the only protection for a plastic oil pan. Does anyone know if the skid plates built by RCI will fit underneath a 2018...
