  1. 6112 & 5100 combo

Not sure its been said but I just went with a Moto fab 2.5" lift spacer AND 5100'S. I know you are talking about 6112's but I think lifting without changing the spring compression is the only way not to have a firmer ride than you expected.
  2. Rough Country M1 Final Verdict

If you are considering the M1 struts/shocks A short 90 days ago I took a chance on the M1 setup after reading the spec sheet and thinking wow those sound like Bilstein 5100's. I went full M1, front and rear units and immediately I knew I had made a mistake. My impressions of the ride after...
  3. Rough Country Shocks vs. Billstein

The M1 shocks are beefy and ride former than stock. Takes some getting used to
  4. Rough Country M1 Strut/Shocks

I'm not a suspension expert but you pulling the blocks probably has a lot to do with the nose high look. What exactly are you trying to accomplish ?
  5. Rough Country M1 Strut/Shocks

No. My experience is that these MF will not settle. Honestly I don't trust the RC documentation or their tech support. My 3" lift was more like 3.75 out of the box.. I had to put the clip all the way down to get 3" . Which ring land do you have it set to?
  6. Correct PSI but abnormal tire wear

I'm going to stick with the 38 cold and see how that goes.
  7. Correct PSI but abnormal tire wear

How did you settle on 44?
  8. Correct PSI but abnormal tire wear

    Right on man. Thanks
  9. Correct PSI but abnormal tire wear

Oh, I didnt know this was a common issue. I thought something was wrong with my tires or something. Im running 38PSI but it does feel a little bumpy.. I may go down a few to maybe 36?
  10. Correct PSI but abnormal tire wear

Possible, but seeing the same wear pattern on all four tires. I did have suspension work done and they did do a fresh alignment to spec so there is a chance it was off from the factory ? Either way when I put these tires to 35 it looks like the sidweall is literally touching the ground and...
  11. Correct PSI but abnormal tire wear

Well title says it all. My 2023 FX4 has the stock Hancook FX4 tires and I dealer told me it looks like im riding on the sidewalls/outer tread block but when the tire pressure was checked it was right at 35 PSI. They suggested upping the PSI, but wasnt sure why the wear would appear like that...
  12. Ride quality opinions requested -- 20" SL vs 18" E rated tires on 2023 3.5 Max Tow FX4

Alot to unpack here. Ultimately ride quality is really subjective and will be different across owners. I am not sure what you can do to soften the ride if the stock shocks and SL rated tires were too rough. I certainly would not recommend going to a E rated tire. For point of reference, I...
  13. ADD A LEAF WITH MAX TOW PACKAGE?

Does it already come with an extra leaf ?
  14. NHTSA Safety Recall (23V-896) on 113,000 F-150 Trucks with Trailer Tow Max Duty Package

My hope is determining whether the tensile strength of the bolt is the program and updating the axle. Ultimately a full floating axle is superior in design but seems like the bolt is the issue not the axle itself.
  15. Rough Country M1 Strut/Shocks

Update: I felt like I owed coming back and providing feedback on the RC M1 struts/shocks. As noted above, my initial impressions were that these rode very rough but over the course of 300 miles and some mild off roading these have broken in nicely. Nice firm ride on the road that keeps body...
  16. Rough Country M1 Strut/Shocks

I installed the front and rear M1 units on my '23 F150 and I'm conflicted with the purchase, the products and the performance. I've had other trucks including F150 and F250's on Bilstein 5100 and this is the first time i've invested in Rough Country products. I've committed to giving them 500...
  17. High rear

Yes i just put on a Rough Country kit with an adjustable struts and new control arms for good measure.
