Yep, auto leveling dance floor isn't happening.
Soft codes, not sure how to check this or even what this is. Just a shade tree mechanic trying to learn all this technology is tough!
I only drive my '23 Lariat once a week for a short trip (work from home and have company vehicle) and noticed the other morning when I cranked it up in the garage before the sun was up, that the headlights didn't dance as usual nor did they move when backing out to turn around or cornering while...
Understand the HUGE rabbit hole this can be, but being new to these fancy vehicles that has more whistles than I will ever blow and me being the type that keeps a vehicle 'till repairs start continuing or wheels fall off, there has been a LOT of things that has changed that I'm not familiar...
I'm about to perform the first oil change on my '23 5.0L at 5,000 miles myself and was wandering if I used anything other than Motorcraft Synthetic Blend, would it effect my warranty?
I would like to use full synthetic even though I will be servicing every 5,000 miles. I do not like the...
@Micho523 thanks again for all the part numbers and installation information. I was able to install them today which was easier than I thought. So far, working like a charm! Thanks.
I take it coding through FORScan hasn't been discovered to allow only the one under the door that's open to lower?
Man, this would be a game changer for sure!!
Micho523, I just got off the phone with a trustworthy parts guy at a home town dealership and he advised the "F" suffix is for trucks with an inverter in the bed, which mine has.
Ordered the parts, now just waiting for delivery. Thanks again for the shared info!
Thanks, and yes, those are all the part numbers one dealer quoted me and another dealer quoted me a jumper harness with an "E" instead of "F".
Thanks for the clarification on these for a 23 Lariat 502A.
How was the install? Easy for a shade tree mechanic as myself? Time to install? Easy to...
Not sure since this is the other part # given from other dealers when checking prices ML3Z-14A411-D.
The "E" and "F" were the only difference when getting quotes. I wasn't sure if the "E" was for newer trucks and the "F" was for older??
Looking into ordering/installing cargo box lights, but have been told either one of the below part #'s would work with my '23 Lariat FX4 502A.
Can anyone tell me the difference, if any, in these part #'s below? My research reveals notta except the "E" is a few more $$ than the "F"...
How did you crank them up? I too would like to actually see them when I turn them on, not only when I turn the wheel. It seems to me, they are too dim and doesn't seem to make much of a difference when going straight down the road. I do like them though when turning.
I've checked the shipping cost from the NJ and MO Ford sites I originally posted, and to have everything I'm looking for shipped was only around $12. Not bad in my opinion shipping to GA.
I'm installing the OEM cargo bed lights in my '23 since it didn't come with them and a dealer near me...
Has anyone ordered OEM parts from https://www.fordoempartsdirect.com/ or https://www.oemfordpartsdirect.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu9Ld1s-IhAMVmTjUAR1-GASXEAAYAiAAEgLd2fD_BwE and if so, how was your experience? Good/bad? Parts as they say, OEM? Any fitment issues?
Just curious since their prices...
Nice add on, but looking at their website it states "(unknown if works with trucks that have factory lid cover in that area)".
My '23 has the lid. Has anyone tried it that has the lid and if so, does it work?
