Battery SOC is probably too low. I had to get a 15a charger/maintainer and charge it up and left it overnight to update.
Two things that may also help:
1) Once charged Reset the BMS system (super easy) so it recognizes the charge.
2) put the parking brake on
I have a 2022 4x4 lariat with both the Max Tow and FX4 packages.
A bit of a weird combo. like you I’m towing a 5000lb boat, coming from a non max tow f-150 the ride is very slightly stiffer when unloaded. When towing it’s more composed, if you’re towing for longer distances I think it’s worth...
lol, I’ve seen this too on my 2022. Happens once every few months, it’s likely a graphical glitch.
Last time it happened I was looking right at where it anppears and swear I saw the speedometer originate from that small bubble as part of the start up animation. Literally a blink and you’ll...
Weird, my 2022 FX4 w/ Max Tow came with 20” Pirelli Scorpion ATRs. Wonder what the deciding factor is for those over the Goodyears or Hankooks.
not complaining, they’ve been okay. At 15k no noticeable problems in tread wear. I think they’ll get to around 35k. I’ve taken down some logging trails...
Ethanol could be the issue if it sits for a long time and absorbs water from the air. Unlikely to happen in the truck tank since it’s sealed and doesn’t vent to atmosphere, gas station tank a different story especially if they haven’t been cleaned in a bit and have absorbed water or separated...
Yeah, try going up to mid or high grade and see if it goes away. It worked for me-these engines can work on 87 but I don’t think they do so happily. There is a great thread in the 3.5L Ecoboost forum on here on how running different grades of gas affect the timing and ignition, worth a read as I...
I noticed this too when in park and idling, it doesn’t happen all the time. What grade of gas are you using? I ran 89 through it after noticing on a hot day, 89 is mid-grade where I’m at and it smoothed it out.
Planning to switch back to 87 to see if it was the culprit or just coincidental.
Aren’t OEM tires usually shaved down from what you’d get off the rack? Honda does that, the tires you get on a new pilot have significantly less tread depth than the same make ones you’d get from a tire shop.
I have the Pirelli 20s and they still look good at 11k miles, anyone with a newer...
Eco and normal drive modes in my 22 3.5L are a negligible difference, especially so on the highway, best I’ve gotten was 22.3mpg in normal mode cruising at 75mph in Indiana.
Around the city I do notice a nominal improvement when in eco, with starting from a stop less likely to engage the...
