Mine does the same thing, I've driven other Ford/Lincoln vehicles that do it. However, these trucks are particularly bad. I think its got something to with with Trans tuning, because when mine does it, it always kicks down a gear or 3 when it finally wakes up.

My 22 5.0 makes exactly the same sound and has since new. The 5.0 and 10r80 are just loud, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm running MBRP. Sounds good and easy install. They do have some kits that exit behind the rear wheel. Mine exits in front.

Yeah it's cut, it's the one I use to start the truck. I don't have one of them fancy push buttons.

Went to get in my truck yesterday and it wouldn't unlock with the fob. No biggie, my battery has been weak for a while, must be dead. I'll just use the actual key... or so i thought. Stick the key in, turn it, nothing. My truck also won't unlock with the key in the door handle. Do our trucks...

Took the negative battery terminal off and let it sit for 15 minutes. Seems to have fixed it. I feel you about not liking dealers.

Well maybe not the eclipse... but I just got in my STX to go to lunch and the infotainment screen is completely dead, not even trying to turn on. I tried the power+forward seek force reset and it did nothing. Door chime and reverse sensor beep are also wrong. It's using the old 2014 era...

@Ford Motor Company help this guy out. His dealer obviously isn't going to be able to fix this.

I run 295/60/20 on my truck which is both wider and taller than 275/70/17 and nothing rubs.

Totally normal. Mine also makes some Ticking/Tapping noises and it freaked me out at first too. Ford has referred to these sounds as Coyote-isms before. These are just loud engines nothing to worry about.
