Good looking truck and welcome to the family.
I feel the exact same way about my '23 xlt. I've had it for almost 2 years now and I honestly could not imagine a better truck. It's perfect. Still zero issues at almost 2 years in. I made a similar post to yours talking about everything I loved...
I feel like I looked at every option out there, and there are many, with pros and cons. I finally settled on these, purchased directly from Ford (SKU: VML3Z9942528A).

Although they are sold by Ford, they're made by...

2. Purchased a 10y/100K extended warranty from Granger. Thank you for the great deal @Granger Ford !
3. Added chrome tailgate...
Now at 8,600 miles, I'm still loving my 2023 F-150 XLT 3.5L EB 302A 4x4 6.5'. A masterpiece of a truck.
One of the many great things about my rig is how quiet it is in the cab, until about 6 months ago when an intermittent rattle developed on the passenger-side dashboard. It was was driving...
While I've never used a tailgate pad myself (this is my first truck), I didn't seriously consider it because the only two people I know who've had them had problems and stopped using them altogether.
I'm sure they're fine if used properly, but the issues they had are:
- One friend had trail...
I just added a DIY in-bed bike mount for 2 mountain bikes using the boxlink plates. It's perfect and only cost about $70.
I did a little forum write-up if anyone is looking to do something similar:

And the...
Only 2,000 miles on my '23 XLT 302A 3.5L EB 157wb . Still absolutely loving it. Outstanding truck.
With mountain biking season upon us, I had been looking for the right solution to transport our bikes to the trails. I really didn't want an above-bed mount, or a trailer-hitch mount, because...
@thechester did you ever add 4A to your rig, or nail down the details of what it entails?
I'd probably get my dealer service dept to do it, but want to understand it a little more before giving them a call.
Would love to hear your thoughts about it after you put it on and use it for a bit. Seems like a great product if it adheres properly and holds up. Do you have a spray-in liner?
As a new F-150 owner, I have a couple newbie questions I'm hoping others might help with:
- Does the XLT 3.5L EB pump fake engine noise into the cabin? I've seen conflicting statements about this. I see there is a forscan option for this setting, but I'm just not sure if it applies to my rig...
@Granger Ford It looks like prices went up this past October. Do you have any intel on when the next price increase is expected? Is that an annual occurrence, or?
I was reading about this, and it's the reason I finally decided I would be okay with the XLT. I might go down this path at some point if needed. Not sure if it's a modification that could put the powertrain warranty at risk, something I will look into.
Yes, Carbonized Gray. I love it, but kinda wish they still had Leadfoot!
Yes, my next move on the iPhone map shows up in the center cluster. I wasn't aware that is new to '23; seems like maybe that's something they could roll out to '21 and '22 via OTA though, who knows.
Totally agree with...
Last week I took delivery of my 2023 F-150 4x4 XLT 302A 157wb 3.5L Ecoboost Sport Package. I was able to use the time spent waiting for my vehicle to decide on the accessories I would add. This forum was very helpful in navigating the many options, so I thought I would pay it forward:

Last week I took delivery of my 2023 F-150 4x4 XLT 302A 157wb 3.5L Ecoboost Sport Package, and let me tell you, this is one Fine American Automobile. It's outstanding in every way. The fit and finish are superb. Fantastic technology. The 3.5L gen 3 Ecoboost is an impressive engine by any...
Great thread. I really appreciate the knowledge sharing here. But not gonna lie, my head hurts after making it through all 26 pages.
I have no background in electrical at all. I'm hoping one of you will be so kind to answer a question for a lowly caveman like me.
In a hypothetical...
