I installed it under the back seat. Not sure if it would fit behind it. I left the factory sub in place in case I sell the truck so it’s easy to reconnect it back up and move the kicker to another vehicle.
I installed a Kicker 48TRTP102 with an AudioControl amp ACM1300. It made a huge difference for me. The Unleashed sub should have been much better for the additional cost.
I went with Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain AT in the stock size 275/60/20. They are a Discount Tire exclusive and I've been happy so far. I didn't want to go to an LT rated and it still rides like stock
Is the ethernet data cable you mentioned the stock one? I spoke with a car audio company that mentioned they thought this issue might be with the ethernet data cable from the factory. Something about it runs under the driver's seat and it was poorly soldered. I assume this connects the head...
Based on what I've read about this issue the only way this is going to get addressed is if everyone that has this issue starts reporting it to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The dealerships can't do anything about it until Ford issues a TSB or a recall...
Did you connect this to a LC2i to level the bass when you turn up the volume? Just curious if that is a necessary step or if you can get by without it. Thanks
Do you mind me asking what 10" sub you're using? It looks similar to a downward firing Kicker sub I've been thinking about. I like the idea of being able to fold up the seats and still sit something on top of the sub so its not wasted space.
