I ordered the ML3Z-4602-AF part which is 1 piece. $400 shipping to Cali from Oregan and taxes included. Confusing thing is there's another part ML3Z-4602-AB which is for powerboost with MAX Tow package but for 141 wheelbase. My truck is 145 wb with MaX tow.

My 2021 powerboost is not part of this recall. I randomly got under truck over the weekend and found this... no sure how but maybe rock hit? No vibrations. Wonder if I can get this covered under recall or warranty.

MPG is about the same maybe a bit better with new intercooler. I was averaging 17mpg before, now it's 18. Normal mode for both. If I stop trying to make the pssshh sound maybe I'll get 19mpg. I didn't take note of how quick mpg goes up or down.

I suggest driving it like how we're taught to drive any vehicle with turbos. Put Left foot on brake floor the gas pedal with right foot - lift left foot off brake. Rinse and repeat at stop signs and redlights. P.s avoid eco mode

I can remove mine after work and reinstall with recording. It's kinda hard to explain but worked out perfectly once it's in. I'm averaging 18mpg combined driving conservatively. How did ford get 24mpg in city driving is beyond me. Electric motor rarely kicks in.

Yes I left PA attached to mounting bracket. Also plugged in cable before inserting it into open area. The hole under square hole is one of the mounting hole for PA bra ket. I used just that hole to secure PA it feels pretty solid after tightening bolt. I was going to zip tie as well but felt it...

Angle it a bit, there's enough space. I wanted to use original mounting hole on top of frame. That was a pain due to limited space for hand. You left out PA? Did you get dashboard error/warning?

Forgot mention. When you take of the hidden bolt for PA speaker there's a clip that the bolt screws into, be careful it in doesn't fall inside the square frame tube. Mine fell in and was pain to get out. You see in my picture I resued that same hole and bolt to hold PA on left hand side.

It's worth it! I took it out after installing it...and thank God no cops were around. Boost kicks in quicker and seems to go higher than usually. I wish we can turn on actual psi numbers. The blow off valve wasn't very loud, almost stock like..

Was able to use one of the original mounting holes to bolt down. The PA bracket. Need small hands to mount onto left side. My hands barely fit.

Well..installing IC is quick. The problem is the PA speaker and bracket. There's a hidden bolt 10mm ontop of the bracket and right next to it is another 13mm don't remove the 13mm bolt. You have to reach up and around with your fingers feel where the small bolt is then try to get ratchet in to...

I'm installing mine right now and there's no way to get intercooler in without removing PA and mounting bracket. Not sure if wire is long enough to remount somewhere else. I'm leaving unplugged for now.

Just unboxed the cvf intercooler and right away saw a bunch of metal shavings inside on both sides. I don't think it's good for my brand new $350 blow off valve. Anyway a little disappointed but unit itself is thick and heavy. Can't wait till Saturday to install.
