So an update with my truck. I finally got it today. Ford tech/engineer showed up today at the dealership and with power of his laptop 3hrs later my truck got its life back……. Can’t wait to see the work order as to what was done on it.
Yup nothing done….. Ford Canada Rep called me to let me know that issue is now escalated to a field technician. Someone from Ford will be working on my truck at my dealership, crazy
Still no answer on my end..... so I visited my dealer in the morning today and instead of update they tried to get me out of my loaner car and give me my truck back stating that the vehicle is good and it is drivable. I said no problem sign a piece of paper that they assume full responsibility...
Looks like they might be working on mine as well, last fault on my fordpass is now cleared.....
PS. Got a message from @FordCanada Service on twitter after last nights tweets.... I plastered them everywhere....lol
yup at this point how do you even buy a truck from them....... they don't seem to have infrastructure to service their vehicles, their own dealers and service departments are not trained, they have bunch of guys that have learned how to do oil changes or swap your tires but that is about the...
So a little update... Ford Canada just called me back with my standard 2 day update....... No update... .they are working with engineering.... no solution as of yet..... maybe it will be done soon maybe not...... no end date as to when they will write the truck off...... sh......t show continues.
I would generally agree with you but that is the reason why you would take your truck/car directly to dealer to perform those updates, this is what I did.......
