Here is a post from way back. My PB has a dual look but it is single to about the rear axle then splits for the dual look.

It seems that RAM has an idea. Make the truck fully electric but have an engine solely as a generator to recharge. Genius out of the box thinking. Then again it will be a RAM.
Imagine the Lighting with a small engine to supply enough electricity to constantly recharge. No electric...
Yeah that sux dude but I beleive it is more of an outlier than a norm. I also understand how that affects your joy in owning it. Hopefully it is a "just one of those things" and you are able to enjoy the ride like the vast majority of the other PB owners.
Toyota dealers around me act like they are doing you a favor by even talking to you. One dealer out right told me that they add over $3500 in dealer add ons and that is not negotiable. If you don't buy it at MSRP+dealer adds, there is a list of others waiting. No thanks.
yeah @Snakebitten seem to understand these trucks. At first I tried to max the MPG but I realized if I just drive it as I normally do I get about the same MPG anyway.
i am approaching the 2 year anniversary of my 2023 F-150 Powerboost.
A little context here. It is my daily driver however, I only drive about 10K mile a year (drive to office, HD runs, help family move stuff etc..). It was purchased with retirement in mind (Florida; beach, generator and...
It is difficult to get any "engineering" info.
Maybe this will help.

For the record, I experienced this issue 2 times in a short period of time. It was about the 3 month mark. It has not happened since. It started as expected after a few hours of being left alone. I have other vehicles so it was not an issue to take one of the others. Both times were at home when...
Sorry I did not pay attention. However, the load was very light, only gas stove electronics and 2 refridgeraters, for about 2 hours so any numbers would be scewed.
Mike, my experience living in metro Atlanta GA is as follows.
I believe the climate control is on is own belt drive that is separate from the engine. The AC runs just fine all the time. It does not behave like the auto-stop engines that limit the AC when the engine is not running. Absolutely no...
Yeah my neighbor came outside and asked how I got the garage door open. I just smiled and said I plugged it into my truck. She looked confused.:ROFLMAO:
Getting a head start on Turkey day cooking, Turkey in the oven and sides are cooking. Then someone hit a transformer outside neighborhood so we lost power. I have a gas stove but it needs a little juice to run the electronics. After a few WTFs, I remembered I have a Powerboost. May just have to...
I have a '23 loaded FX4 PB. No real issues in 8 months. Avg 21 daily driving consisting of 15 miles each direction which includes a short section of 70MPH freeway. At 80MPH on cruise I got 20MPG over a 1000 mile trip. Like @Snakebitten said the battery allows the engine to off and the climate...
Got my first "Stop Safely Now" /no start yesterday morning on My 2023 PB. I was in a hurry and couldn't deal with it so I just drove my other vehicle. I read some threads on this forum. When I got home I walked outside with key FOB in hand. Using the key FOB, I did a remote start and it started...
I read the post about using a weight to go hands free more as an attempt at humor.
Most of know NEVER to attach anything to the steering wheel or any place an airbag will go off. The others that don't know that are helping with Darwinism. Some people just want to be nominees for the Darwin...
