I havent seen any reason for dual injection on my gen5 motors. I’ve had the intake manifold off multiple times for porting and msd etc
75,000 miles on a ltx and a 175k on truck
This seems correct.
More time during cold start to get the cat warm as the turbo takes some of that heat for itself, but nice during a long high load condition reducing COT powerloss
Ive noticed this as well. It went away after a while and didn’t come back. Maybe the corrosion locks it in there and stops it from jiggling. Good luck.
I agree. I wouldn’t change the fluid at that mileage either way.
There is no forcing though, the pump in the trans is the only thing moving fluid…like it always does. I get your point it does depend of the competency of the mechanic to set the machine dial to flow and not flush.
That’s what I ask for. Fluid exchange.
same pressures and direction as the trans sees every day.
Pressure flush, reverse flush = bad. I don’t think a dealer would even do those if you asked. A lube shop…yes.
When the dealer does it, most of the fluid gets changed. The cooler, lines, and trorque converter too. Pan drains will need increased frequency to get the % of fresh fluid up there. Pick your poison
I might be crazy but if your shifting is rough do a little time in 4A if you have it so it can learn. It might be impacting 2wd shifting.
I need more time to confirm but I did an adapts relearn after my trans fluid change and it didn’t settle down for a few weeks until I went into 4a. I need...
