  1. Tinting the rear window w/ defroster?

Appreciate the info. Definitely doing ceramic, and will consider the windshield as well. No moonroof ... when I sought out my truck, I specifically didn't want one. The Houston sun/heat just bakes you most of the time, so it would have just stayed closed anyway.
  2. Tinting the rear window w/ defroster?

Thanks for the info. I know the side windows are tint, but as you stated, the rear is most likely privacy glass (without tint), assuming that is how it comes from Ford. I'm in Houston as well. Mind if I ask what you paid for your tint job at that store? I've got a good tint guy on the SW side...
  3. Rear tag lamp connectors toasted at only 2k miles -- Swap to LEDs!

The non-LEDs are only on 2022 and up, correct? My 2021 should already have LEDs, right? (sitting on my couch at the moment and too lazy to walk outside and look)
  4. Engine braking with the PowerBoost

Yep. My PB is the "noisiest" vehicle I've ever owned. There is always some clicking, whirring, whining, etc going on. It's all a normal part of the PB experience I suppose.
  5. Tinting the rear window w/ defroster?

My 2021 came with some crappy (perhaps factory or dealer installed) window tint all the way around. I'm going to have it replaced with something that is better at reducing the heat that radiates into the cab. I know I can have the side windows existing tint removed and replaced, but what is the...
  6. Seat issues

Experienced the seat clicking on mine as well at around 8,000 miles. I applied the TSB 21-2236 fix myself (took less than 30 mins for both front seats). I do agree as mentioned previously that this is a "ghetto" fix from Ford, but it does seem to correct the issue.
  7. 2022 Lariat PowerBoost: Tow Tech (17T) vs Trailer Tow (53A)

In the never-ending discussion of "what can my truck tow?", here is what the calculator gives me for my 2021 F150 Lariat Powerboost FX4 501A with the Tow Technology Package 17T (not the Trailer Tow Package and not the Max Tow Package). The calulator recoginizes that I can only hook up a 7000...
  8. F-150 Built in Phone Holder..

https://www.proclipusa.com/ Every mount is two pieces ... the first piece you specify to fit your exact car model, and the second piece is made for your model of phone. They are a bit pricey, but I've bought several mounts from them for cars I've owned over the years.
