maybe I’m not quite understanding, but as far as I’m aware, pick up truck beds are not designed to be waterproof. I’m personally glad they’re not because I carry around a lot of wet scuba gear and the easier the water can drain out the batter. However, if you want a mobile hot tub, then I would...
I have spray-in liner PLUS FoMoCo rubber mat as I carry around scuba cylinders (32 x AL80 once for an international lifesaving event). Mat is thick sturdy, and the bed still looks great
Sorry For being late to the party, but I got a A329 for christmas and I picked up the hardwire kit/fuse taps. Did you hardwire? If so which fuses did you tap? I'm also wanting to do park mode (always on), as my truck is often at Park/Sleep/Flys. Thanks for any input
that really is a matter of opinion, and your opinion is incorrect ? I get a lot of positive comments on mine! I’m guessing you probably don’t like LED signature lighting either?
Look at my avatar. I self installed (Ford Authorized Accessory but made by Putco) and have had many favourable comments. https://www.putco.com/product/luminix-ford-logo-led-emblems/v/Ford/F150/2022/ Putco also make a matching red illuminated emblem for the tailgate.
My [5/6] doesn’t work either (powered tailgate), but my dash button is to the extreme right above the headlight switch with mirror zone lighting and pro power switch (2022 Tremor 402A):
I was referring to the increased cost of aluminum if 25% tariffs are imposed by DJT on Canadian production (used in aluminum vehicles) on Mar 04/2025. Of course steel also and other components are also sourced from Canada and Mexico.
Everything’s gonna be getting very expensive for the auto manufacturers and I can’t see how they can do anything but pass on their component increases to the consumer. Worrying times ahead.
This is not a Raptor only feature. Lariat 502A/Tremor 402A and higher all have the AWD option, which functions exactly as you describe. This can even be observed in the IPC graphic. On a dry road power will be observed to be only directed to the rear axle(s). And even on loose substrate or snow...
A TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) or a recall, should be a free replacement. Something fishy here. I have never paid for a TSB and have owned many new Fords here and in UK. Contact Ford or even another dealer!
It's perfectly normal for cast iron components to rust, and doesn't affect structural integrity, and pretty much unavoidable. From an aesthetic standpoint, there are various products you could spray on to coat and retard any further rusting (not exhaust of course). Look on the bright side; at...
The only reason I can think, is they already had a Bronco II (remember a ranger chassis based alternative to the F150 OJ version ;) which ultimately got stretched to 4dr and become 1st gen Explorer). Still, "Sport" is a bit of a misnomer, but clever marketing, I guess! I know they're based on...
