  1. Installing Forgestar F14's - Do I need longer lug nuts?

Thanks! Excited to see how yours turns out! I can't for the life of me find the order confirmation, but they are pretty similar to these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gor-k6ts14150bgr?seid=srese1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlMDqx4LjjwMVQw6tBh3w6gXGEAQYAiABEgKHzvD_BwE
  2. Installing Forgestar F14's - Do I need longer lug nuts?

I don't have experience with Forgestars but the factory lug nuts that came with my OEM steelies are too large in overall diameter to fit in the recessed lug nut bores in most aftermarket wheels. I ordered some generic aftermarket lug nuts that have a smaller overall diameter.
  3. My Imagination Or Is This Truck Much Hotter Than My Last?

Wow, that's a way bigger difference between the two metals than I expected. Cool info.
  4. My Imagination Or Is This Truck Much Hotter Than My Last?

Yep that definitely rules that out. Your last truck also had a steel cab vs aluminum, no idea if that would affect heat transfer through the roof?
  5. My Imagination Or Is This Truck Much Hotter Than My Last?

My guess is they cut down on insulation as a cost savings. Window tint may play a role if it's different between the two trucks. My blower motor also seems pretty lazy unless I set the system to Max AC.
  6. F-150---- V8 Gas Mileage? What MPG Do You Get??

I've been getting 15 with a lead foot and 35" tires, I am running 91 though which helps.
  7. Should i

ah, so much for that option. I do think it'd look good 1.5" lower in the back, the rake on these trucks is a bit much especially if you don't plan on hauling anything heavy frequently.
  8. Should i

Have you already removed the rear lift block? that may be the easiest and least expensive option. There's a few threads around here that go into good detail.
  9. Slids F-150 Reg Cab 5.0L 4x4 Build

Looks awesome, I like the polished wheels with the black lip. How much lift did you get out of that system in the front?
  10. 🔥 ORGANIZE YOUR TRUCK BED! Heavy-Duty Truck Bed Storage Box 🛞

That's a cute lil' gas can.
  11. Realistic lifespan of a 5.0 with a whipple

Never thought about spending $ on suspension to aid cooling, but I guess it can increase airflow!
  12. Realistic lifespan of a 5.0 with a whipple

Do the supercharged trucks tend to build more heat under low load than the NA trucks? My only worry would be excessive heat from low speed driving off road.
  13. Ordered up set of KO3

This is wild. Glad to hear you were able to get stopped safely. If there's only an entrance and no exit do you think they'll be able to find whatever it was still inside the tire?
  14. PB to Lightning

This sounds more like they were missing a grounding cable or chain than something to do with software or EH controls unless I'm missing something.
  15. Thinking of Selling my Tremor

This is good info. I didn't think that mods would add any value to their pricing but I really didn't expect that it would lower the value. Some dealers seem to like lightly modified vehicles and will buy outright. One of them may be a good option for OP if the market turns again and...
  16. Thinking of Selling my Tremor

This is a nice looking truck. You can always check with Carvana or Carmax for a minimum price/backup plan.
  17. 1993 F150 mint condition

I'm in the same boat as you on this one. After seeing pictures I wouldn't be surprised if someone on here in a different financial situation were to make an offer.
  18. Anyone trim or remove the white plastic blocks behind front wheel well liner? Or know what its for?

X2. I'm really curious to see how this turns out. I can't imagine getting back into those without hitting fenders (low offset) or frame (high offset) first.
  19. Well now... V8 Hemi-Powered Ram 1500 is back

With as big and heavy as the new Chargers are, I feel like the 5.7 would be a little lacking in power. At least for a muscle car.
  20. Are these all factory tie down areas?

I have some Rhino soft shackles and they're good quality. Only thing I've purchased from DC Cargo mall is e-track rails and they're pretty nice, but it's also hard to mess up e-track rail. I'd choose the longer option if there's a difference, after that maybe rated capacity.
