I ran 285/60R20 ridge grapplers when stock. (33.7x11.5 ) '21 Sport 4x4 SC tight fit but I don't think it ever rubbed. Discount Tire or Stage 3 motorsports will tell you what fits.
Now its leveled and opened up so goin to 35x12.50R17 R/T Trails, wish me luck.
Nice setup !!!
I think those are +10mm offset. Perfect I believe to clear the UCA for 12.5 or 12.7 width tires (I got +6mm)
Also correct 87.1 mm center bore, no centering rings required. (hub centric). No vibrations. Send it!
Just my experience:
I have 285/60R20 Ridge grapplers on stock rims...
ADD stealth.
if 5.0, winch no problem, if not need the relocation kit
Still need to relocate sensors.
Suggest good amber lights like Diode dyamics, BD,
winch Harbor freight synthetic
I am looking at getting Toyo R/T Trail, 35x12.50R17, then saw these are coming out in April (next month).
Almost a mud tire that should be tolerable on road, noise, rain, snow, grip, handling, wear, etc
Not much mud in southwest but should be good offroad in sand and rocks, stronger sidewall...
Just saw this so passing it on. Good wheels.
Looks like it it's just a couple of lines like Alpha, not all are correct bore for us.
I got some delivered to/through local Discount tire price match if you send them the link.
I used my DT credit card too.
25-50% off on some. (save $600)
FYI: I got...
Yeah. I'm waiting for a 10R80 recall. Right now there's just a service bulletin.
Rough shifts. Are service bulletin fixes free? Should be covered under my service plan with $100 deductible though. Not sure. May take her in.
I asked dealer about my rough shifts and service bulletin and they...
Just get the cheap amazon, harbor freight, or Walmart lights for that pair.
Nilight.
We use them, can replace several times for price of Bajas.
We do desert night runs in summer 110 deg F, AC on, camp at 11pm or later 80 deg F by 1am then sleep LOL. Totally worth it. I'm 62 but can still...
Yes I have 2 BD white driving pattern lights on hood mounts pointed straight out. Love em.
Kinda just got used to the glare, I have space white so is bright glare.
Some folks put black on hood for this. Overkill I think, or I'm too lazy
Love my Baja designs, also diode dynamics are comparable...
Planning and navigation will become crucial and take some effort.
Onx and Gaia , etc for planning
Gaia for navigating.
Example, great offroad route into Death Valley:
Goler canyon and Mengle pass.
OnX good trail info
Create routes, waypoints, campsites, alt routes, etc in Gaia.
Save, folder...
Too much fun shopping for upgrades lol.
Again on the rear crash bar I think you can loosen the 2 nuts/bolts and bang on bar with a sledge hammer and it will rotate back a bit then retighten, maybe hold with pry bar while tightening and your good to go. That just based on research and videos...
Yep, me too.
Occasionally use AC to charge my Handheld radio batt, impact wrench batt.
Have run AC phone chargers cuz can get more current hence faster charge than USB.
Can't run a coffee maker, might try my daughters Macha Latte milk frother on it. LOL
Edit: @Henfield To answer the burning...
My Icon stage 1. 0-2.75 and 285/60R20 Nitto RG's (33.7x11.5)
I did tires before level, big regrets.
Awesome tire but not enough sidewall on 20's for off road. (35x11.50R20 might work)
So I have 6.8 ish of sidewall now vs will have 9 ish with 35's on 17".
But I agree with @Aonarch etc sell...
Thanks for the info.
Looks like its ready for most trail already. But keep going.
BVO, bear valley overland fabricated sliders and welded them in. Big Bear, ca, so you'd have to find a local shop to go that route. They could do brackets to bolt to frame too. Prob more options out there now...
Awesome. Very wise decisions. I have almost the exact same truck. '21 Super, Sport 4x4, 5.0 coyote, 3.73, XLT Love it. I offroad the heck out of it. Love the video, poke etc. Great channel I Subscribed. ?
Thanks, I'm learning from you , Here's a few helpful tips from my experience...
I love my e locker in snow, ice, sand and occasional mud. Been trying out slippery mode more too, really helps. Thought about adding the torsen front LSD, I hear its pretty close to a simple drop in.
