Finally got mine to update. Parking brake on, trickle charged the battery, headlights to off, locked the truck, disconnected the battery for 15 minutes then it updated.

I have the same issue with 2.8.1 in my 21. I've met all the conditions required of the update. I've never had an issue with any other update. I've placed the battery on a trickle charger to fully charge the battery with no change and see continued failures at my scheduled update time. I've also...

I noticed my 21 uses auto start stop less frequently than my 16. My 16 2.7 XLT would shut off at most stop lights with climate on and low fan. My 21... the climate controls need to be all off for it to shut off like my old 16 did.

Mine started doing the same thing a few days ago.. started about only going halfway, now its only going down about 2 inches and the bounce back has been present since day one. Service scheduled in two weeks to look at it...ugh. Less than 800 miles on the truck.
