This why I haven't activated anti glare headlights in forScan yet, Just to clarify, I drive a lot at low speeds in the middle of no where at night. With anti glare activated in forScan and the light switch on automatic I can still use the high and low beam turn signal switch to over ride anti...
I'm going to do the glare free forscan changes, I've did several other changes with forscan but have a question before I start. The spreadsheet says to reset APIM in forscan after changes. Is this something different then just cycling the ignition like other changes? If different can someone...
I had something similar happen when I first got my new 2023 in April after several updates. I just unhooked the battery and left it sit for a couple hours and then hooked back up and all was fixed.
Idk if it's a problem moving forward, but I had it happen yesterday when parked. Started truck and wanted to enter a address and it was frozen couldn't do anything. So I shut truck off opened door and had to wait about a minute for screen to go black, then started truck and it was back to...
I've been following this problem just because. Did I read this right that your truck has been at the dealership for nearly 4 weeks and they couldn't fix it and in just a few minutes Jesse fix it online?
This is why I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I had one of the first 2017 Raptors and it would only go into deep sleep if I left it in the shop not used for 4-6 weeks or it might have even been longer.
I have the negative mounted right where you have the extra black wire mounted on your battery. So can I update the TCU with forscan or is that something that the dealer will need to do? Or are there other ways to do it?
Thank You for that info. That is how I have it a quick connect bolted to the post so I can just plug in when the truck is parked without even opening the hood.
The above is all great info. I can have a fully charged battery, back into the shop where I park it and hook the charger ( Noco Genius10 smart charger) and in a few minutes it says fully charged and I leave it hooked up, but then in 48 hours the truck goes into deep sleep to conserve battery or...
Is it normal for the truck to go into deep sleep after 48 hours of not being started? I put a trickle charger on when I park and it still goes into deep sleep after 48 hours or do I have a bad battery?
I've done several forscan changes, but is there some where I can get rid of the dinging when I start the truck? I don't mind the screen 75th stuff going on but the dinging drives me crazy. I'm guessing I missed it somewhere because I can't imagine somebody hasn't figured this one out. Thanks
