I stand corrected. Kept an eye on my Pro Power Phase A yesterday and it didn't change color at all. The <200 is always Red and the gauge reads 0. When I looked at the picture I took above they look yellow for some reason, but it must be the camera. When I first start the truck it's on electric...
Well I never really noticed it changing except when I just went out to take the above picture it was red and almost instantly went to yellow. I'm guessing it goes to green when the battery is fully charged, but I'll need to confirm that. I also think because the truck had only been sitting a few...
My KR Pro Power Phase A is always on also at startup <200W and showing Red and eventually yellow and then green. I also recall at one point I read a splash screen that Pro Power was recharging the battery.
Ha! I have had just the opposite happen. No A/C until I pull over and stop, shut off the truck, and restart it. Happened only once, but a real annoyance and dangerous depending on your journey and location.
Does anyone else notice that the generator kicks on by itself when you start up? Mine shows a 20W draw. I'm not sure if this is typical or something unusual? It's almost like it's recharging the batteries?
I've had my truck since the 8th, but because of a pinched wire I didn't really get it back from the dealer until the 18th! It's been awesome since then. Put a Retrax Pro XR tonneau cover, stubby antenna and Mud flaps on it. So far it's flawless. Amazing truck!
Nice looking truck, I almost got the silver, but opted for red. I like the chrome accent on the steps. Are those factory? My K R have all black rubber. Everytime I step on them AZ foot dust prints are visible!
I haven't gone through the manual, but is there a way to keep the horn from honking twice when you step away from your truck with the fob when it is still running?
FWIW, some of you know I just got my KR back from a 5A parasitic drain which turned out to be 3 different issues corrected by changing a pinched harness going to the fuse block. But what I wanted to also mention is that I have had 3 or 4 batteries replaced by Ford in the 10 days of this problem...
Just got notice that my KR is ready to pick up after being at the dealer since last Wednesday with a 3A parasitic drain. Turns out it was a pinched wire behind the fuse panel. I was told that because the wire was pinched that it was somehow turning every module on and that was the actual cause...
Depends on the configuration you ordered which determines the Payload. Safe to say you should be around 1300 -1500lb payload. If it's just you in the truck then your weight plus tongue weight. Tongue weight is usually 10-15% of trailer weight. You should be able to tow a 12,000lb trailer, but...
Our trucks are delivered with the LC3T-14G621-AD kit which includes a yaw sensor and wiring to install it on a travel trailer along with a 12-pin connector. This kit is used in lieu of the reflective tape to setup the Pro Trailer backup assist which is not available yet in the Sync 4 software...
