My car got rear ended at a stop light in NJ by a crackhead. I saw the car behind me slowly creeping up to me in the rear view mirror and the guy was passed out on the steering wheel and I had nowhere to go. He eventually woke up. I had a couple small divets from the screws in his license plate...
Exactly why I went with an on the collum shifter with the work surface package instead of the motor controlled console shifter. I new this was a ticking time bomb. Also, will never get a sunroof again; I had to fix it multiple times on my car.
My 2024 hit the the red line once when I first took off pulling out of a tollbooth with my trailer while in manual mode with gears 8 and 9 locked out. Hopefully that's a one off.
Same here, had to trim the Huskys, just like the picture above. What I am worried about are the cheapy fasteners. I can see them popping out or shearing off first time offroading.
Brand new 2024, got sick of the low battery warning. Everlast H8, done. Not worth arguing with the Ford dealer for an equally junky battery. I see you are looking at Costco, hopefully it is not an Interstate. Garbage, we use them at work.
Getting this style having it eventually only working half the time, I went with this from Amazon:
NEIKO 02638A 5-Inch Automatic Center Punch
Our company bought a bunch for work as well. I see they are cheaper for Prime day.
It's been a year and I haven't installed the sticker or touched the knob, maybe sometime. I guess I should test the AC outlets too, as I haven't checked to see if they are even working.
Also had one growing up, along with the Hess tanker truck. We had a sandbox in the backyard for toy construction activities. My friends would bring over backhoes, bulldozers, etc.
Going to the hardware store this weekend. A 2x4 in boxlink etrack board holders and a piece of plywood with 2 rows of Etrack. Also going to attach it to the groove in the side of the bed somehow so it doesn't move.
Tons of opinions, but anyway, Mobil 1 Truck and SUV synthetic or regular Mobil 1 synthetic if I can't get it. You can go by the manual or dash, but not me or any other mechanic I ever talked to. First change at 1500 to get all the breakin junk out of the oil, every 5000 miles after that. Cheap...
I was getting 21 mixed driving and 22-23 on the highway until I put a cap on the back which destroyed all that. I just got back from a 1000 mile trip each way all highways a couple days ago picking up a trailer and did an actual mpg check (calculated, not using the dash). Going there, 70 mph...
Does locking out the gears also apply to a stock 2.7 Ecoboost (2024). I am picking up a new empty aluminum enclosed trailer this weekend 1000 miles back home (1700 lbs curb weight) on some Northern East Coast hilly terrain. Eventually it will be loaded with no more than 2000 lbs and hopefully...
My 2024 transmission was 1/2 quart low from the factory. Not really an amount to be overly concerned about. All other fluids were OK...Differentials, transfer case, etc. I always check because something has been low on every new vehicle I have bought in the past, usually much worse.
