Hello All, I just purchased this truck couple days ago, here are my changes so far. Any tips or recommendations on what else is a good improvement or modification, i'm all ears.
Details:
Truck Purchased Oct 21 2024 - Bone stock Space White '21 2.7EB XLT FX4
Suspension: 6112 at 2.5" Front...
Braking is much more linear doesn't feel lumpy or like i'm lunging forward during hard braking if that makes sense. No more body roll when turning, much more responsive as a truck. It remains to be compliant with not much noticeable stiffness. Potholes, bumps and road joints are slightly...
Thanks for that, I ended up not getting UCAs. Started at a hair under 37.5 inches and now a hair under 40. Perch setting 5.
Methods and Falkens will be here Saturday, will make another post once it's all set up and installed.
The headlights are beautiful, but is it safe to assume if one wants a seamless experience, perhaps go to Morimoto? Looks like there are still kinks that need to be resolved?
Thanks! I ended up sticking to the C rated, I had a small moment where I contemplated the at4w in 35/11.5/18 C, but I don't really want to do any fender or crash bar bending.
Just got the 6112 package on Perch 5 installed today, will make a separate thread of before and afters with all specs...
I bought some Method wheels and Falken AT4w 285/70/18 C Rated tires. They come in this Thursday. I'm having 2nd thoughts on the tires. I mainly purchased these because C 6 ply tires will give me a smooth ride since majority of my driving is highway. Not a fan of the treadwear on such a soft...
Hey Friends,
I'm getting my 6112s installed this Thursday. Is anyone here running them at the 2.5" setting? If so, are you using aftermarket UCAs? My usage is about 95% city/highway and 5% on mild fire roads, maybe once every other month. The off-road use is light—nothing intense or prolonged...
I'm not a fan of the Morimoto XB appearance. I'd like to put the BLIS LED tail lights from higher trims, but purchasing the aftermarket version. My truck is '21 with BLIS Halogen...
By chance do you know your measurement on the rear? I have around 41ish on mine. Is the ride similar to stock? In terms of bumps, on road vibrations, etc
I plan on doing ReadyLift 2.5" with WildPeak AT4W 285/70/18 ON 18X9 +12 Offset.
So KO3 decision was more so patriotic? I like the C Load rating of the Falkens and the aggressive. look.
I'm hoping your ride quality hasn't changed much, bc I personally enjoy the rolly/cadillac ride my F150...
